Deep thinker, low-key adventurer, and the kind of person you want in your corner. I appreciate good conversation, genuine connections, and a little bit of mystery. Let’s make life interesting.
Exactly. This isn’t just about one man—it’s about a culture that embraced him, excused him, and still clings to him. The world isn’t laughing at Trump, they’re laughing at how many Americans saw the chaos, the corruption, and the criminality—and said, ‘Yeah, I want more of that.
It's not just Trump. The world has been laughing as legions of Americans continued for years to defend a game show host. A liar, a pussy-grabbing adulterous cheat, a convicted felon. One man hasn't tanked our economy & tarnished our brand--half the electorate has.

I think a lot of people are still unaware that prices on basically everything are going to skyrocket in the coming days and weeks. That should be fun

Today marks 21 years sober. I've been sober so long, my sobriety would be old enough to legally drink.

Whatever you want to change about yourself, change it. The sooner you do, the sooner you can celebrate the anniversary of changing.

Funny how ‘health’ always seems to be a code word for fitting a certain aesthetic rather than, you know, actual well-being.
“Make America Healthy Again” is being thin, white, and extra susceptible to preventable death

Oh um actually, you’re supposed to care about minorities.’ – A reminder that morality isn’t a numbers game.
When people on here share that they aren’t concerned about the fate of over 1 million people because that’s a relatively small number of people I’m like oh um actually you’re supposed to care about minorities

ProtonMail and Tutanota are solid options—privacy-focused and less likely to get flagged as spam. Outlook is another decent choice if you don’t mind Microsoft.
I've been made aware that fastmail sometimes goes to peoples' spam folders......

what's the best non-gmail email provider that WON'T do this??

At max, you can expect to infect 5-7 people with COVID. That’s considered pretty transmissible, which is why we (tried to) lock down about it.

An infected person will give measles to 16-18 other people. It’s extremely virulent

It’s long past time for you to wear a mask again.
A thing I wish more people knew is that measles is basically the most contagious disease in the world

this actually makes my stomach sink with dread, because it has to be very very very very bad for the grifter to say this
RFK Jr finally recommends vaccination to deal with the measles outbreak hitting Texas right now.

This is quite the about face for a man who’s been spreading harmful anti-vaxx rhetoric for years.

RFK Jr. urges people to get vaccinated amid deadly Texas outbreak
Kennedy has a long record of sowing skepticism about vaccines, but advocated for them in a Fox News op-ed today.

People literally died from Covid while claiming it doesn’t exist. There is never going to be a wake up call for some people. A lot of people. It’s not about convincing them if they can’t be convinced. IMO it’s about overwhelming them entirely with opposition.

I think a lot about how Athens would routinely exile demagogic individuals who sought to use the crudest impulses of the crowds to undermine Athenian democracy in favor of oligarchy.

I really think about that a lot.

Ancient Athens really had some solid preventative measures. Imagine if we had a ‘10-year exile for would-be oligarchs’ policy today… 👀

Writing from experience. We’re being forced to feel what I’m calling “mass learned helplessness”.

We are watching our institutions that have been protecting us get ripped apart every day on MSM. Our leaders appear to be helpless.

Helplessness is how we will be made to conform to the new America.

It’s exhausting, and it’s by design—keep people overwhelmed so they stop resisting. But awareness is the first step to pushing back. We’re not as helpless as they want us to believe.
