Jupiters Club is an indie publisher located in Jupiter.
In an endless thick gas cloud, what an infinitely secret pleasure!
We imagine games, books, records, etc.
that would not be very popular on Earth, and sometimes publish them.
My new game for this Tokyo Game Market is Fragmented Memories of Crime. Printed newspapers may one day disappear. But to me as a child, news of crime always seemed more mysterious because it was delivered on fuzzy printed paper. I wanted to capture that old feeling in this game.

Politrickers is a game that reflects a lot of my tastes. But I think the rules have become overly complicated, making it a game where it's not easy to discover the original intent. So I've designed an easier variation, focusing only on the core mechanic of switching between two political parties.

Our new title for Tokyo Game Market 2024 Spring is called Politrickers (政界渡り猫). I've been nervous about the short preparation period, but it's fun as always to turn an idea in my head into something tangible.

Why do some people make these small, weird games, why do other people come to play them, and why is the line between 'some people' and 'other people' becoming blurred?

I just think it's because it's fun.
And I think everyone who shares that fun is a co-creator.

I look at the photos of my visitors instead and relive the fun of the day. While I was excited about the event, I was also concerned about how many people would show up to an event dedicated to indie games. Now that I realize how unnecessary that concern was, I ask another question.

I introduced Trick Dumping and Quack-Quack, Corrupt Ducks at an indie board game event in Korea. Despite my ramblings, I'd like to thank the people (and one bear) who enjoyed the games. It wasn't until I got back to Jupiter that I realized I hadn't taken a single photo in all the excitement.

The sky above Jupiter's thick gas clouds is blue in a different way than it is on Earth. It's just the right amount of lonely and therefore cozy. I like this name, Bluesky.
