50mg on an empty stomach for Tulip is good, lol. I was able to pull her up onto my chest for snuggles without any ounce of a fight. She's still responsive to loud noises, but she falls right back asleep. That's the sweet spot!

Holy crap. Same thing around the same time happened again today with my sinus pressure and tiredness, feeling like my ears are gonna pop and as if some of my oxygen went away. Fricking barometric pressure dropped again.

I did a little more research. My iron panel done after about 8 days of supplementing increasingly larger doses of iron probably means my ferritin beforehand was actually 20, but also: doing it after supplementing revealed that my body IS actually using, moving, and responding appropriately to iron.
