Hang on, when did reading become so performative?

(I get it, this actually IS performative in the movie 🤣, but Hepburn was a noted bookworm!)

This guy!
I think his blinking is an attempt to send a message.

Stats say I solved Wordle in 1 guess 3 times. For the life of me, I cannot remember what the other was - today's, last year's 'Pious', and 🤷‍♀️ no clue.

I'd love to be getting more in the 2-guess category - that's be fun!

Those panicked #6 guesses suck. LOL! Been a long time since I blanked though

Just thought I'd share that you are experiencing an 'invalid handle' issue - on both your profile, and posts. Examples:

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who's coming to save you

I'm putting a lot of faith in Crab Man here. 🤣

Tangentially, I often think people used to look so much older than they do today (cosmetic surgery aside). I don't know if this is an accurate thought, but then... case in point, Nathan Cohen is 40-years-old in this photograph. He died at age 47, in 1971. This picture was taken in 1964. That was 40.

Sometimes they sleep weirdly and we don't know how they breathe.

I have just been made aware it is International Cat Day.

We have a couple of ding-dongs. 🤣 They are 18-years-old. My partner has had them since they were 7-8 weeks old. I've only been in their lives for 3 1/2 years but they let me in and allow me to stay. I joke, but they are very good girls! 💕

The lithium/Alheimer's news is HUGE!

Also appreciate that, in the brief clip shared, the value of unpaid care is being highlighted.

So many people work incredibly hard, without pay, caring for loved ones who, often, do not have financial means to afford professional health care supports.

Drop an old person that you're going to turn into in the future.

(I wish!) Frankie-era Lily Tomlin is aging goals! 🤣

We don't have a lot of money, but we made a small donation this morning. There are a lot of costs associated with wildlife rehab and Shades of Hope is a registered Canadian charity.

So ends the tale of our two wee orphaned mice. It's rough out there, but with hope you find the helpers.

A thing about me is that wildlife in need find me. Tonight, we found 2 baby rodents, eyes not even open yet, in the backyard, about 2 feet apart. No idea how long they'd been there. They are now warm and covered, in a shoe box with air holes. We will be making a long drive to a rescue centre. 1/2

No cheating. Your last saved celebrity photo is your therapist. Who is it?

This works. 🤣

Both my parents are big readers. My mum's current read: 'The Life Cycle of the Common Octopus', by Emma Knight. (She loves it!) My stepdad's current read: 'Sharp', by Therese Huston. (He loves it, but has become *very* preoccupied by "the inevitable decline and decay" of his brain.)

"Who would want to sponsor the prize now? ....what organization with that kind of money wants to risk being drawn into this drama? Which financial institution wants people scouring its records for any connection to Israel, followed by angry taunts and tweets?"

Question: I am a bit confused (easily happens). I thought Kobo Plus gave unlimited access, but saw this indicating 1 audio credit is $12.99/month. I'm interested in the Kobo Plus Read & Listen, and hoping to move back to Kobo this year, if finances allow. Stupid money. LOL!! Sorry to bother you. ☺️
