I live in a Red corner of a Blue state. On Nov 4th 2025, for the first time in 80 yrs, the number of Dem elected representatives in my county outnumber the Republican. So to my mind, you’re 100% right. Oh, the other thing worth noting... My county is also home to Trump National.

I don’t know who** needs to hear this, but it’s perfectly reasonable and not unhealthy to feel a sense of relief or schadenfreude when an objectively terrible person, who caused hate and harm, has died in the exact way they found acceptable for others to die.
