The AI that’s going to do your job better than you can doesn’t know that 2017 came after 2013, not before it.

These were the most comfortable socks that could ever be, plus cheap, so naturally, Hanes quit making them. I’ve worn mine to threads. So while it’s NUTS that an eBayer is angling for $100, they might just get it! Just not from me. (You don’t need to tell me this is a neurodivergent post. I know.)

My favorite costume at the Rockland #NoKings rally in Nanuet, NY was this one—The Emperor Has No Clothes!
Use myth, symbol, folklore, art, music, poetry! Use it ALL!

“So much for the party of ‘family values’!” Looks like Republicans stopped saying that years ago and we didn’t notice. (I didn’t, anyway. Maybe you did.)

A Western Republic and a Northeastern and Upper Midwestern Republic, maybe two regions of the same republic. Hold a vote. Pennsylvania might opt for the economically viable country.

If “Nuclear Celtic” isn’t the name of a trad/punk band, WHY isn’t it?

New job! New career! (Still a librarian, but now, at the college level).

I just did this, and you should, too. There are some good templates available, but I didn’t use it. I opted to take an aggressive, conservative attitude, and I tried not to sound too much like the fancy East Coast liberal I am. (No idea if that matters.)

Interesting eyewitness account from the infamous Mike Lawler Town Hall about the man who was calling for violence against Emily Feiner. According to this person, commenting in an #NY17 Facebook group, he was NOT MAGA, and was being inappropriately ironic.
I hope this is true.

Still life with fruit salad.

When I want to make fruit salad, I still go back to my 1977 edition of @molliekatzen.bsky.social’s “The Moosewood Cookbook.” I wouldn’t say that I have mastered carving a most beautiful fruit salad, but at least I have excellent instructions.
