Long walk yesterday along Cleveland Way from Scarborough to Hayburn Wyke waterfall. Navigating all the death stairs was worth it for the stunning views. Then walked back along the cinder track to Scarborough. Not quite as scenic but no death stairs to contend with!

The 18 year old cashed in his Child Trust Fund today. It was a great scheme introduced by the last Labour government and especially helpful for poorer families like mine.

Life has been hard recently. I'm facing challenges I didn't know existed a few months ago. I let my health slide, drank far too much and felt like crap.
I've now cut down on alcohol, eat well and go for long walks. Simple changes can make a huge difference and I feel loads better 😊

Most of this is just walking to and from the farm where my daughter helps look after a pony but I'm absolutely knackered!

Woman down! I've overdone it in a bid to get fit again and lose weight (I never learn). Out of action for the foreseeable, fitness plan in the bin. Laid up with the cat and will have to stay fat a bit longer.

Right, back to some good old fashioned TV entertainment. Sick of Phoenix Nights not being available to stream so going old school with a DVD player and dusting off the old DVDs.
Had to cadge an HDMI cable off the eldest but we got it set up. The technology involved is frightening!

My daughter desperately wanted this Sabrina Carpenter mag. It was £9.99. NINE POUNDS AND NINETY NINE PENCE for a magazine!!! I used to pay £1.50 for a Kylie or Tiffany mag back in the day.
