X needs to eventually be abandoned for this to have any beneficial effect, make Bsky required to keep up with Smash news and the people will follow. Banning twitter links on reddit has been a great start

I think what needs to happen is a bunch of orgs, and hopefully bigger names (commentators/top players) all come together at the same time to announce a move to Bsky over X amount of months. After that time, stop posting on X, leave a pinned message with link to Bsky account.

We should talk, I'm trying to organize a bunch of orgs and hopefully big names to abandon Twitter. I think community leaders have a responsibility to make a push to leave that site at this point, the amount of hate speech it pushes on people is not ignorable anymore.
