If I have to explain to you why it's a bad idea to use a machine that makes shit up 15-80% of the time AND destroys the environment AND contributes to rising fascism and genocide AND puts brilliant skillful creatives out of work by stealing their work, then we're already speaking different languages

This is a hill I will die on. Coffee should be hot. You can keep your trash iced coffee
Coffee has been hot since it was invented as a drink approximately 525 years.

So, no, I will not be filing a personal exemption by way of copious apologies and justifications to the brilliant baristas who insist that I must want iced coffee.

I will stand in this breach. So be it. Coffee is hot.

I should not be surprised at anything but what the fuck?
BREAKING: President Donald Trump abruptly fires Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden.

The dismissal was disclosed in statements from three top House Democrats and confirmed by a separate person familiar with the matter.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is 50 years old this week.

(Going by U.S. release date; UK was a skitch earlier.)

Denver showed up. I was way far away and grateful aoc heard the chants to turn up the volume
Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.

Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.

And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

The library and the post office are the only two systems we have that circulate things widely and to everyone, no matter who they are or what they believe. The library is the only one that, for now, is not forced to pay for itself at point of sale. Attacks on IMLS are attacks on every one of us.

Apparently Denver is getting some weather and I’m sitting on a plane on the SLC airport awaiting takeoff. Should we take bets on when I land at DEN?
Looks like a couple of go arounds @DENAirport in the last few minutes
