The Trump Action Tracker is a British academic’s answer to Trump “flooding the zone” with anti-democratic and anti- rule of law behaviours.

It’s a one-stop-shop for logging thd lot. And the neta-analysis of what is happening is very enlightening… darkly.

I thought this was conclusively by Philip Pullman: it's made consciousness! My bedroom is probably full of gnostic angel mites and having high-speed spiritual re-awakenings no matter how often I clean.
In all seriousness, this article on the composition is interesting, though not surprising.
Household dust is a rather horrifying cocktail of organic and inorganic particles that most people would rather not think about. Even though banishing dust entirely is impossible, knowing what’s in dust can help you mitigate its accumulation.

Catching errors, making errors... same difference
This article notes that "Among 40 papers flagged as having issues, he [i.e., me] found 14 false positives (for example, the model stating that a figure referred to in the text did not appear in the paper, when it did)".

For background, here are the cases that I believe to be false positives.

When it comes to game worlds, however, you're aiming for *verisimilitude*... not *replication*. You want a world that *feels* real, not one that works exactly like the real world does. The latter sounds great, but would become thin quickly, and that's not nuance I'd expect AI to ever get on its own.

Reductive, to be sure, but it does ring true.
Trump actually has a very consistent worldview: Fundamentally anti-egalitarian, strongly authoritarian. He knows only friends and enemies. Only people like him, or those aligned with him, deserve respect – they are owed deference, they get to do as they please, they get to dominate.

The public really needs to understand this. Every university system in the world rests on public funding, there has never been an alternative model at any time in history.

We have universities for literally the same reason that we have roads and armies.
I don't disagree that the US university business model was/is fragile, but surely not for this reason?

There is no society in the history of humanity that has successfully built a good university system without massive govt subsidies. US had already pushed the idea very far.

The real realism was the friends we lost along the way...
Otherwise you have to imagine a universe in which it makes sense for the United States to shitcan the world's largest and most powerful alliance system ever to cozy up to a failing regional power that just lost most of its military equipment in a foolish war.

Meine Rede.
