spent the afternoon ricing my laptop following @diinki.cat crashcourse(to not say ripping off most stuff) and not gonna lie, this feels good, next step is setting up the gtk themes and such, then setup wifi/battery/etc widgets (wallpaper by @dustrial.net )

welp, i finally got it to look the way i wanted, using two subviewport and a shader mixing the post processed outlines with an "unlit"/non shadow having render, i don't think i'll get anything better without digging deep into godots sources, thank you @panthavma.bsky.social for your blogpost

tbh, this and the data knife in titanfall are two great piece of sci fi gear where it's a weapon and a tool(and with how titanfalls art was made (operators and mechs where first made as miniatures with greeble before having a 3d scan and being used as a modeling ref) there probably exist a tiny one)
