as you ran, you rigorously studied your fracture, & compiled irrefutable evidence of its aetiology. it became then clear that, for you, there had never been a crossing line to begin with. you had been tricked. so you stopped running. & over consensual suicide, you chose life.

in an intuitive way, you knew that your leg was not exactly broken. but words were scarce, & your pain was conceptually homeless. so you ran. not toward the sought-after crossing line, but secretly, toward something radically different: a dreamy panacea, the blurry afterworld.

as you ran, the sharp pain never left your body ; if anything, day by day, it intensified. yet, you did everything you could, to keep up with the pace. but for those who watched, your everything meant nothing. & what you had to say did not matter - metrics spoke for themselves.

as you should absolutely be ! 💫

enchantée ! & thank you for your brilliant article on autistic flow theory.

this is amazing ! thanks for sharing. I hope more works like this can be done so that eventually we are able to completely move away from pathologising neurodiverse ways of doing & thinking :)

but for a few others, myself included, it was the stillness. the reprieve from the screeching clamor of the ordinary. an ordinary that, for us, was anything but ordinary. & how truce itself shone, even in the thickest stratospheres.

the surrender of names, titles, gold. a liminal, gravity-defying threshold, where only stories mattered. fleeting cacophonies of excited chatter & blended languages slicing through blurry, unpredictable horizons. & as shield, as shelter, only a turbulent, metallic shell.

thanks for the input ! I am trying x) actually I'm still trying to figure out the feeds system it's a bit confusing ! but getting there

sorry for the damage caused

true it's just that I'm not finding the content on here as interesting for some reason- maybe once all the crazies have shifted things will get better
November 18, 2024 at 7:58 PM
glad it worked for you :p

if working class people are not experiencing the social mobility or stability they seek it's because they're not trying hard enough, not because of a lack of governmental investment in public welfare- a narrative allowing them to bypass accountability & wealth redistribution
November 17, 2024 at 10:54 PM
when this happens, even in such countries, it is framed as 'meritocratic' though undoubtedly the result of exceptional circumstances & talents specific to the involved individuals. but the framing is essential bc it enables the far right & the right in general to claim that

India does not have a social security system, free healthcare, high quality education like you would find in other countries, which encourage upward mobility & results in the occasional rise & integration of people into the intellectual, political & financial elite circles
November 17, 2024 at 10:53 PM
now this might be a bit of a stretch, but I have reasons to think that the working class narrative regarding Modi's background has always a point of contention in his PR campaigns & essential for preserving his credibility as a person working in the interest of the lower classes
November 17, 2024 at 10:53 PM
N. Modi, India's PM, many times claimed to have worked himself as humble chai-wallah when younger, & that his political journey & success was entirely the byproduct of hardwork & luck. but such claims were always met w skepticism & seen as attempts to win over the working classes
November 17, 2024 at 10:53 PM
DollyChaiwala's unexpected rise to fame against all odds, is in part due to Bill Gates, & in part due to the absurdity of the entire situation & the fact that he really had no idea. but underlying all this, I wonder whether the bjp has anything to do w the crafting of this story
November 17, 2024 at 10:52 PM
now it seems Dolly is being recruited to work as a chai-wallah in very exclusive bollywood events, as testified by his latest uploads, where he poses next to Salman Khan
, & overall appears to be treated like a peer by people who in india would be referred to as "bigshots"
November 17, 2024 at 10:52 PM
I suppose that in the process he got rich as shortly after, he started posting reels of himself hanging out in Dubai in expensive outfits, driving ferraris, travelling internationally & receiving awards, while interestingly, never altering his very peculiar 'chappri' aesthetic
November 17, 2024 at 10:52 PM
& all this is interestingly happening when various BJP narratives, including that about how Modi, being a chaiwalah went on to become a PM, are being met with increased public scrutiny & realizations that not much of his working class spirit has dictated his governance aesthetic
November 17, 2024 at 10:35 PM
for someone who is a working-class, uneducated & possibly lower caste chai-wallah, in India, to integrate the elite is simply something that cannot, by any means, happen- the social barriers are too rigid, conservative, ruthless. & trying to bypass them could get you killed
November 17, 2024 at 10:35 PM
though in that moment, Dolly had 0 interest & didn't even try to start a conversation w Bill Gates, this reel transformed his life & he quickly became an media/internet sensation, w a lot of Indian influencers wanting to do reels with him, which only further bolstered his fame
