Some FRQs from yesterday’s APUSH exam. Honestly, I kind of see why an illiberal, anti-democratic regime would want to curtail advanced studies. Kids who can answer these questions and are eligible to vote next year will fuck them all the way up.

4/ I got a response from the lawyer for the board saying essentially we let board members reserve the boardroom for any purpose, we can’t restrict religious exercises. He cited some caselaw. I’m not convinced that’s accurate but whatever. So then I get this email from the board member herself:

2/ Yesterday, she did this. She hosted a bunch of her christofascist cult members IN THE BOARDROOM to pray and lay hands and whatever TF they do (I’m Jewish and prefer the separation of church and state, not even sure what I’m looking at here). So I wrote to the board asking her to explain.

Right before the election in ‘22, my kid met @joyannreid.bsky.social when she broadcast her show live in Orlando. I’ll miss her show but I know we haven’t seen the last of her!
