Look, social media is fun and all, but at some point we’re going to need to grow up, overthrow the government and seize control of the economy from the oligarchs who are cooking the planet and robbing us blind.

OpenBSD's patch(1) utility now uses unveil(2) in addition to the existing pledge(2) to further restrict filesystem access. Very cool.

The term "cracker" has never been used against me to reinforce my subjugation and oppression. Cracker is a pejorative and not a slur. It's a red herring for white people mad they can't say the N-word.

THERE IS NO WHITENESS EQUIVALENT TO THE N-WORD BECAUSE WHITE PEOPLE ARE THE OPPRESSORS
"cracker" was literally used to mock slaveowners. a "karen" refers to a specific type of white woman who is middle class and throws an abnormal hissy fit. like the kind of entitled 40 year old woman who asks for your manager whenever you don't give into her ridiculous demands.
cracker is a slur in the same way that karen is a slur. like yeah they're pejoratives and kind of mean but they're both terms meant to refer to a specific type of person who's very privileged. if you're legitimately offended when you're called either of these, you're creating your own oppression.
