Joyce Carol Oates, on Twitter / X So curious that such a wealthy man never posts anything that indicates that he enjoys or is even aware of what virtually everyone appreciates- scenes from nature, pet dog or cat, praise for a movie. music. a book (but doubt that he reads): pride in a friend's or relative's accomplishment: condolences for someone who has died: pleasure in sports. acclaim for a favorite team: references to history. In fact he seems totally uneducated. uncultured. The poorest persons on Twitter mav have access to more beauty & meaning in life than the "most wealthy person in the world."

But of the 90 cases where the method of crossing is known, 50 men report that they came legally to the United States, with advanced US government permission, at an official border crossing point," Cato wrote in its report. Repost comment by Joshua Reed Eakle @JoshEakle. These people entered the US legally and ended up with a life sentence in a foreign concentration camp. Unthinkable evil. There are no other words to describe it.

So many new followers with a variation of the name "cami", all with empty profiles, for now. 3 in the last few minutes. I don't know own who Cami really is, but she is persistent.

New follower whose profile has "INSERT LINK" in the bio. In every other aspect, completely identical to all the other "Eve" or "Cami" profiles following in bulk lately.

What's a Slow Day At The Library Look Like? One librarian at one rural WV library: • Helped a non-profit renew their business license • Helped someone getting evicted (by no fault of their own) find and rent a new home • Helped a new college student get their apartment electric account set up • Helped a WV crafter send her inventory list to a Connecticut craft show • Informed a new community member on possible part- time employment opportunities (including phone numbers and contact names) that match her skills • Helped another community member finalize her paperwork for a legal settlement • Provided two interested women with information on the aqua fitness programs at the college • Helped a new farmer order nematodes to combat fleas and ticks (I suggested Guineas as a better idea, but...) • Turned one teenager on to Stephen King books, and another on to Goosebumps books • Shared rabbit prevention tips with a frustrated gardener • Fixed a teen's glasses that kept slipping down her nose • Helped a grandmother look up and understand her granddaughter's critical illness • Helped another patron print out her campground reservations for their family vacation • Played in the bird bath, filled the bird feeders, watered the vegetables being grown by library kids. AND - caught a dragonfly indoors and carefully set it free outdoors to have some good luck rub off on me Libraries Are So Much More Than Books!

When I took this photo, I had no idea what I was looking at.
Hummingbird moth flying above some flowers at the local hardware store. It looks so much like a hummingbird, but is obviously also a bug.
