Secretary Hegseth should be jailed. His order to kill survivors of a ship that had been destroyed by U.S. missiles is in direct contravention of the Geneva Conventions.

Remember when it was only Republicans pushing unsupported conspiracy theories about the Clintons? The emails suggest Trump blew "Bubba". Epstein actually had a friend named Bubba, and elsewhere he says that Trump is way off base for suggesting Clinton was involved.

So, one day later and the utter failure of Democratic Party leadership has all but vanished from my feed. I guess the storm has passed and we all just file in line now. I feel utterly betrayed and abandoned. The worst thing is, there isn't a damn thing any of us can do about it.

Just trying to make sure that I understand how government ethics work in the Trump era. A mayor can't let Qatar pay for a business trip, but Trump can get a personal gift of a plane and a sweetheart deal for a golf resort from Qatar, in exchange for a foreign military base in the USA. Right?

The last time a Republican administration said they had undisclosed intelligence warranting military strikes, we were pulled into a war in Iraq. Bush said they were harboring terrorists and had weapons of mass destruction. He lied.

Watching the national news, I don't think that Democratic leadership is making it clear that the Republicans refused to negotiate their budget proposal. The Big Beautiful Bill contains no concessions. We know that Johnson and Trump are lying, but many voters don't follow events that closely.

I do not believe that the killing of Charlie Kirk was a good act.
I will not mourn his death. I did not know him personally. I feel no more than I would about the passing of any stranger. But I do know that he freely spouted conspiracy theories, lies and hateful propaganda. I will not mourn him.
