Steve please don’t let people cherry pick egg prices. USDA has historical data, see below. However USDA is no longer including year ago data in the weekly egg report. Eggs have a long way to go to return to 2024 (Biden) prices.

Although USDA has stopped reporting year ago egg prices on the weekly report, the price trend over the past two years is still on the USDA web site. So if you see some cherry picked dates for egg prices, repost this graph. At the moment, egg prices are about double this time in 2024.

Brown line is 2025, egg prices are well above 2023-24 Biden years. FYI USDA dropped “last year prices” from the weekly report. Can anyone guess why?
