Didn’t even need to look it up to know Ms Rachel is from New England. “Room” and “Crayon” were dead giveaways.

In 1949, Superman told schoolchildren “our country is made up of Americans of MANY different races, religions and national origins. So…

“…if YOU hear anybody talk against anyone else because of his religion, race or national origin — don’t wait: tell him THAT KIND OF TALK IS UN-AMERICAN.”

CNBC: The EPA is moving to rescind this endangerment finding on carbon dioxide and greenhouses gases. Is that a danger to public health?

MAKARY: To be honest, I don't know enough about that issue

CNBC: You're in charge of our public health! Can you look into it for us?

Dear Vinay Prasad, don’t let the door hit you on the way out, you disgrace.

May your shame last forever.
Lol. He grifted so hard, even the grifters wanted nothing to do with him.

“Dr. Prasad did not want to be a distraction to the great work of the FDA in the Trump administration and has decided to return to California and spend more time with his family,” HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon told STAT.

No one wakes up in the morning happy to breathe in more ozone and carbon dioxide during their morning coffee or workout

A clear majority repeatedly poll wanting stricter controls on greenhouse gases, not a let it rip strategy

This new EPA rule is in proposal stage. Please speak up and make noise!

Since people love to bring up the false trope of doctors recommending cigarettes (negative health effects have been public for over a century), it’s interesting nobody seems to know the history of leaded gas & how corporations knew it was toxic even before bringing it to market but got away with it…
People who grew up in U.S. areas with high atmospheric lead levels were about 20% more likely to report memory problems 50 years later, a study of more than 600,000 older adults showed. #AAIC2025 www.medpagetoday.com/meetingcover...

Was slightly terrified when a NICU baby’s dad asked me where he could “do his own research” online, but VERY quickly gave him the links to the AAP and UnbiasedScience and told him not to bother with anything coming from HHS

NASA is more than rockets and moonwalks. NASA is behind much of our everyday technology. From space discovery, to Air Jordans, to CAT scans, NASA has played a role. We get it all on less than a penny of every federal dollar. Now their science may be gutted by 50%.

In a lot of states, for a 35-yr-old man without very specific disabilities to qualify for Medicaid, he’d have to make less than $16K/yr and have essentially zero assets. Medicaid would mostly only cover his preventative health (ie checkups), would not cover any dental, and most likely not cover eye.
Steve Scalise: "Disabled people will get better Medicaid under this bill because all of the fully able-bodied -- the 35-year-old guy sitting at home playing video games in his mom's basement -- he's gonna have to go work. And so he will not be crowding out disabled people in Medicaid."

Medicaid does the following:

-Provides 1 in 2 kids health insurance
-Keeps the majority of rehab and skilled nursing facilities open nationwide
-Until today, had a rule in place to ensure minimum nurse staffing for patient safety

This is the program the party of “MAHA” wants to gut.

Every medical professional organization needs to condemn the actions this administration has taken with regards to health and science, and especially the replacement of the CDC’s expert vaccine advisory council (who were among the top vaccine experts in the world) with incompetent antivaxx cronies
Meissner is upset that the AAP boycotted the meeting, and claims it is childish.
I would so much rather be childish than have professional medical organizations lend legitimacy to this farce. The AAP's (and IDSA, SAHM, SHEA) example should be followed by all professional medical societies.

Once again, by banning the cheapest and most shelf-stable/long-lasting flu shots, which are only 4% of all flu shots given each year, the only people affected will be underserved and vulnerable people who otherwise don’t have access to flu shots. Not a single person will benefit from this.
