Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is an international Catholic organization in 58 countries with a mission to accompany, serve, & advocate on behalf of refugees and other forcibly displaced persons, that they may heal, learn, and determine their own future.

Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

We must support funding for programs that support refugee women and girls.

#16Days #Refugees
Violence doesn’t stop when funding does, it worsens.

In 2025, drastic cuts left millions of refugee women and girls without life-saving services.

Funding for gender-based violence programmes must be prioritized.
