Rewatching The Birds (1963), and between Tippi Hedren, Veronica Cartwright, and Jessica Tandy, it’s a triple generation powerhouse. It’s just a shame that Jessica Tandy wouldn’t become recognized by Hollywood until the 1980’s, when in her old age she would finally become a proper movie star.

I’ve watched most of it at this point. It’s a bit jarring when they replace Chloe Webb (who was also in Practical Magic). I really liked her as Mona, but got used to her replacement as an actress but not her wig. The story goes to some wild places! Pics of Chloe Webb for context.
