I remember it as a classic dramatic tension device - will she/won't she, with the audience all knowing she was making the wrong decision with head over heart. It was sad.

Isn't there also a subtle inference that he's fit (in the sense physically attractive and in good shape), but oblivious to it, hence the line 'why are we talking about my buttocks?' in Underwoods.

From memory, she flitted between the two - they were cast as opposites and young Emma while excited by Ed's wilder side, thought she'd be better off with steadier Will. Ed's life was really chaotic and unreliable. The today Ed is quite different.

Nah. Let's get the plotters (Tom, Kate, Ruari, Jacob and Natasha) into a Scottish castle and do a Traitors, but with real murders. (And turn off the under-floor heating for fun.) Pretty sure Jakob will emerge the victory.

Head over parapet: it's a L3 language qualification, not an English A Level. I lived in Spain for 2 years in the 1990s, teaching English. I studied Spanish at night school and got a L3 (A Level = qualification) in that time. That enabled me to function reasonably well in a professional environment.

I was in London yesterday. Forced to go as Saddiq has monopoly on 'world's greatest classical music festival' #BBCProms. They made me eat this biscuit - pistachio which was spiked with 'matcha'. I had to Google it to make sure it wasn't a class A drug. (They're trying to get you hooked.)
