In 2025 alone, WWE has scheduled multiple shows to counter AEW PPVs. NXT Battleground vs. AEW Double or Nothing. Great American Bash vs. All In. And recently announced Heatwave vs. Forbidden Door.
Counter programming isn't bad in itself. But it can come across as petty.
