“Spoonbill Perch” is all printed up. www.jpopstudios.com/products/gat... Isn’t it funny? This piece is a companion to “Gator Perch” I made them at the same time with the similar idea that a gator looks like a log in the water, and animals may perch atop. It also features garfish. #printmaking

I think it is amazing that humans figured out how to breed dogs into animals so unrecognizable from their former selves (think wolf to pug, and no offense to pugs, I love them they are just 1/10th of the size, have short fur, a squished face and a curly tail.) www.jpopstudios.com/products/wol...

I did a few polls in the last few weeks and a lot of folks don’t know what efts are. Come to NY in the spring and fall and you will be amazed by these creatures. The red eft is a showy little amphibian that lives in a wide swath of the eastern USA and Canada. www.jpopstudios.com/products/lar...

I’m ready for spring, and today we have snow. Red efts sometimes live around mushrooms because decaying mushrooms attract insects and efts are lil carnivores. Can’t want to roll these blocks up with bright red ink. #redeft #printmaking #blockprint #mushroomart #slipperorchid
