Is that a rechargeable or an alkaline one? 😉
Seriously, how on earth does something with so little body mass survive an Atlantic winter at sea?

Thought I'd see if EE were cheaper than our O2 deal they are, but only for 5 months of a 2yr contract because they're adding £2.50 in March 26 *and* 27. Ripped off whether you stay or change.

About time the filibuster was made illegal. It makes it too easy for a minority, or even an individual, to scupper democracy.

But didn't the leave campaign promise Brexit would make food cheaper. Oh wait, that was a Johnson/Farage "promise". Silly me.

What a charming thing to do. Hope her family did celebrate it as if it was her birthday.

Great view but the Hendrix soundtrack is breaking up. 😉

The PR depts for the world's religious leaders have seen how this has taken off and are now combing family albums looking for photos that show theirs was cool and good looking in their 20s.

Might it not be quicker to give the shrinking list the Reform politicians not sacked, suspended or defected?

Could be a revealing programme. Schoolmate's mum knitted him swimming trunks to save money. Great hilarity when he climbed out of the pool, struggling to hold them up, only to find the crotch had stretched so much he might as well have let them fall down.

Definitely the author's mum.

What? Ryanair is scrapping something it could charge for? Guessing they'll charge €10 a minute for phone charging if your flight is delayed.

She doesn't quite seem to have thought this through.

I know with the World Wars you had to have died as a result of injuries received during the war by certain dates to be considered as casualty. So, sadly, there's probably no point visiting historic properties to nudge old weapons hoping to get any more recognition than becoming a social media joke.

Government must allow the BBC to fight any action Trump brings or he'll just keep trying to silence it. He can't sue here because it's past the deadline for a libel action and an American court has no jurisdiction over a libel not broadcast there, though Trump will try to force them to hear it.

Oh what a shame, no documentary about Farage and his fanboys. 🤭

Hard to believe the bin was so full she couldn't squeeze in a single envelope. Also, it's daft putting something with your name and address on in any bin, never mind leaving it beside a public one. Hasn't she heard of identity theft?

OMG I'm sorry! If taking the piss out of Farage "enables" him, I'm just as guilty, along with a majority of UK Bluesky people.

OK, you can have the job if you bring back Magic Roundabout.
November 11, 2025 at 5:06 PM
Still probably unwise to chuck it on the wood burner.

Now you mention it, New York is the only place I've changed planes and had to go through immigration and customs. Maybe I was too tired for it to register after a flight from Tokyo.
