My neighbor called the police because someone claiming to be from the census bureau rang her bell and asked if she knew anything about who lives in the house on the other side of her, which has been vacant for four years. I'm 99% sure the guy was legit but now a cop is filing a report.

Trying to sign my dad up for a PFLAG membership and their system keeps rejecting my payment. Like every card I try. And I definitely have the money. It's like they know it's a spite donation and they don't want the bad vibes.
Happy first day of pride month! I told my dad about my engagement and he had some thoughts on still not believing in being gay and decided to finally let loose and call my partner disrespectful for existing in our own home. So that's about $125 less to spend on the wedding.

This is an undeniably terrible moment in my life but I really like how I'm making the decision to disown my dad rather than dwell on how to make things right. It's sad but feels really freeing.
