My last evening in France. Tomorrow I get on the train to London. Sitting outside watching the sunset in Bordeaux, while drinking a lovely white grown and bottled here.

View from the Sain-Sour church looking down into the ancient heart of Terrasson. The beautiful sculpted topiary is stunning next to the fairytale look of the stone buildings. In this region buildings are entirely stone, including many of the roofs. Then looking down at the river Vézère

The bridge over the river Vézère was built in the 12th century. Towering above it is the Saint-Sour church. The first view is on the bridge looking up at the church the other two shots are views of the bridge from both sides one at night and one at dusk.

Abbaye de Saint Amand de Coly. It is a former Augustinian abbey located in Dordogne. Today, only the old abbey church remains, surrounded by the remains of a fortified wall. There is a beautiful village surrounding the church, situated in lovely valley with tree covered hills.

Spent the day at Lascaux. Incredible that this art is 25,000 years old.
