My 4 gandparents were all born in/near what is now Odessa, Russia, or Ukraine. Jews that fled to America. ✡️
Maybe not unlike the Ukrainians who saught refuge here & who are now deemed "unwelcome" [from my most recent reading] by "the administration."

I just struggled to take a short walk on a brilliantly beautiful day. I barely made it.
But resting on my front porch with my feet up, absolutely NOTHING hurts me right now. Precious moments...

It came out in tears this morning.
Not sobs- just accumulated recent sadness, loved ones feeling the same.
Some recent tragedies hit too close to home + my usual physical frailty.
But I've made it out into the sunshine & encourage you to do the same if able.
Be gentle with each other today & always

My daughter & I parked, heading to lunch Wed. in our town outside ATL. She took one look at the Southern style cafeteria where we had prepared to eat, looked at me with a frown and said, "I'm not really in the mood for a bunch of old white guys today."
I hugged her proudly, and we went elsewhere.

Hoping my Thriends will find me here. Who says you can't be two places at one time?
