Whew! Outline done and sent to the director. I imagine this is what my main character feels like at the end of the story. Epic and triumphant. And in need of a shot.

Yesteray I had drinks with my director and the president of the production company I will be working with. I was so worried about my fit I changed it twice like I’m on a first date. Prez showed up in a t-shirt and basketball shorts.

Quintessential Hollywood. 😅

Had an amazing conversation with an indie director on getting my script set up. Strategy is in place to make it happen. Unless anyone has a spare million they’d like to invest 😅

Mssgd my producer a story beat I came up with then walked away from my computer. When I came back I saw my mssg and thought it was the producer pitching my beat back to me and I responded, “Yes, that’s what I was thinking.” I responded to myself. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Anyway, how’s everyone else’s day going?

Wrote a short script that was extremely personal and ended up breaking down. Guess I was holding on to something I needed to release. Now I’m determined to get this made.

Anyone else find it hard to focus on writing with the world burning down around you? Both literally and metaphorically.

I don’t know why imposter syndrome kicks in the hardest when you’re just trying to send “let’s grab coffee and catch up” emails.

This makes sense tho it still caught me a bit by surprise that my top album on Apple Music is Brown Noise because that’s what I listen to while writing.
