Ginger cat is now known as Marmalade and has his own bed, snuggle station and food bowl in our school foyer.

He rocks up daily, wanders the staffroom and corridors ... And is loved by one and all.

Wicked is everything I'd hoped it would be.

Ginger cat at the fire door window, today infiltrated the classroom ... and it was wonderful.

That first week back hit me like a brick to the face.

Things I've seen from my garden this past week:

A stressed seagull, swooping repeatedly on some form of bird of prey (who was pretty casual about it all tbh).

A green parakeet, now clearly nesting in the trees beside my house, which means I'm not telling fibs, after all.
