Still some ai stuff is useful, like when you want to remove text from an image in gimp, have an algorithm fill in the gap… ai is quite good at that, in and out painting. Pros and cons 🤨

Apparently when a citizen pirates books they act criminal but when big tech does it, well, they REALLY wanted to train AI and getting those copyright agreements was slow, so… we'll allow it.

Try that argument when you steal a car: yeah but I REALLY wanted to travel and buying a car takes so long…

And yes, Signal is great for #privacy and should be used by citizens, non-profits, and press, to fight #censorship and #surveillance. Not by government, aiming to evade legitimate #oversight

Oversight, judicial or by press, falls away if we don’t stop this.

The EC should use proper tools that comply with archiving legislation, keeping data secure but reviewable.

Society has a right to #transparency from the people who work for them. We pay their salaries and we deserve to know what they do with the power we give them.

The worst part: While they hide THEIR communications they want to enforce #ChatControl to break OUR #privacy

European solutions are basically excluded from competition in Europe. And as long as that is not addressed, big tech will continue to dominate. @ec.europa.eu shooting our own economy in the head, day after day.
