I don’t even have the words to describe it, just the best gig I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere was electric and pure joy. Everyone was just singing and dancing and basking in the music we’d missed for so long.

Very good first lineup, a bumper undercard on Friday and Sunday for me. Hoping for Basement Jaxx and Pulp to be added to the Saturday and not too many clashes…!

Problematically, 8am is the time I need to be yelling at the kids to get their shoes and coats on for the school run/commute combo, the lineup dropping in the middle of that feels like a recipe for one of us to be late. But do I have the willpower to hold off looking until I get on the train? (No)

Considering starting a petition to the government calling for it to be made illegal for manufacturing companies to use packaging that is anything other than perfectly cuboid in shape. Wrapping the kids’ gifts has been arduous this year.

I still absolutely hate ‘Christmas Wrapping’ by The Waitresses after enduring it being played once an hour for the entire ten weeks leading up to Christmas during the three years I worked at Debenhams.
My fiancé and I both worked retail for a long time, so creating a Christmas playlist that doesn't abruptly fill one or both of us with murderjuice is a complicated undertaking.

Went out yesterday for what was supposed to be a cute little festive day on the Southbank, had to change plans due to the weather and it ended up turning into an absolute rager and it is an actual Christmas miracle that I have not been devastatingly hungover today.
