The last few days I've been working with @firekeep.bsky.social to build this amazing digital corruption effect. It combines traditional shaders and a post processing effect that accurately simulates JPEG compression to give this 'digital fire' effect. Very proud of our work here! #gamedev

the idea is that these are going to be collectables in the game. might make some part of it emissive to facilitate that later down the line.

I experimented with this sort of grapple based combat system a while back. The idea is that as long as you throw it in the right general direction, it will essentially auto-aim to its target.

Always been a fan of these procedural tubes I made similar to Portal 2's excursion funnels. They're a bit of a cross between those and Bioshock Infinite's sky rails.
