From the town of Escanaba
Sailed a schooner one fall day
Its name was Christina Nilsson

Really looking forward to these readings for my grad colloquium in 20th c rural America!

It was hard to narrow down the list, and I had to cut many great books by friends and colleagues. But I’m pleased with how it turned out, w/ books by @loriflores.bsky.social, @erikloomis.bsky.social, & others.

Author copies arrived this week! I just mailed this stack to family and friends, an experience that leaves me brimming with gratitude.

Thanks also to everyone at @uncpress.bsky.social who helped make this possible!

Last week I came across notes from grad school.

Seems a fitting time to share page proofs:

What better time than this for my first post?

I’m so excited to share the beautiful cover of my forthcoming book with @uncpress.bsky.social, due out in the Spring 2025 catalog. It’s amazing how the cover makes it all feel real!
