"It's hard to say, it's sad but true, I'm kinda dumb and so are you."
Overcooked Canadian story of the year.

Uh huh. Sure you do.

This excerpt from Ross Douthat's (frequently renamed) "Women Ruin Work" panel in the NYT today reads like a 10-year-old blog post from a campus conservative. And, of course, the panellists lament the end of "conversation" in a discussion which doesn't include anyone with a contrary position.

NYT updated the title, but it's hardly an improvement. Using a bad photo of Douthat as the key art is a great choice, though.

Epic sunrise over Toronto this morning reassures us that despite how it feels as a Jays fan, it is not, in fact, the end of the world.

The year is 2033 and I’m crossing the channel from Cherry Beach on my way to Centre Island.

The AI scam bots on X aren’t even trying anymore. This looks more like @profgalloway.com than Howie Mandel.

I'm currently working on a theme park project, and one of the hotels on the resort has a pretty darn good atrium.

The NDP has (very quietly) replaced this morning's pledge to "repatriate" the F-35 contract with a promise to cancel the F-35 and build an unnamed jet in Canada.

Canada’s federal election matchup is set.

While Singh's popularity has been in freefall, the party's polling has remained relatively stable...right up until Trudeau quit. Now, during a period of uncertainty within the Liberal Party which should represent a massive opportunity for the NDP, their polling numbers have also taken a nosedive.

If the Americans offered a 1-for-1 exchange of currency, 54 electoral votes, instant citizenship, and the creation of a "State-level" equivalent to socialized healthcare, that might turn a few heads. But...c'mon...

A disappointing, confused and obviously incomplete “fully costed” platform. No money for transit, the $40B 407 promise conspicuously absent, and $3.65B more in giveaways to grocers than to the housing crisis.

We've done a wonderful job of making car travel the only semi-reliable mode of travel.
