Update: BMI now at normal weight, down from Class III obese. I’m running after the pups, trotting up the stairs. Feet, ankles, and knees no longer protest a long day up and about. Feel like a million bucks. 🙌

Is this law currently in effect? The Transparency page on Flock for certain VA law enforcement agencies would indicate it’s not being followed. See Culpepper, here, listing several out-of-state agencies with access: transparency.flocksafety.com/culpeper-va-...

Mochi was also a rescue, found in Buckingham County by animal control. We adopted her at 5ish yo & she had more tan then. No records or history unfortunately. If you google “lemon hound” you’ll seen some pups that look similar… American foxhound coloration that is not super common maybe?

Health update!
I started GLP1 meds last fall (semaglutide, aka wegovy aka ozempic). I’ve been open about this with friends & fam because I think it’s important that anti obesity medicine is not stigmatized, just as one wouldn’t expect anti hypertensive medicine to be stigmatized. It’s been a ride!

Health update!

We got a Tonal Gym delivered a little over 2 mos ago… and I guess I do strength training now?! Hubby and I both are loving it. Working out 4-5x a week and already making noticeable progress in our strength. The reduced friction of exercising at home & not tracking sets/weights is a gamechanger.

We got a Tonal Gym delivered a little over 2 mos ago… and I guess I do strength training now?! Hubby and I both are loving it. Working out 4-5x a week and already making noticeable progress in our strength. The reduced friction of exercising at home & not tracking sets/weights is a gamechanger.
Anyone have advice for improving VO2 max when you’re starting from essentially the floor? I’m up to averaging 80+ minutes a day of exercise (walks, cycling/spin, strength training) and it’s barely budged 🤷♂️

Adventures with Mogu the Chaos Corgi: I had to rush home yesterday after receiving a frantic alert from my mother-in-law, informing me that 🐶 had found and devoured an entire chocolate protein shake.
