I've been lucky enough to help out The 1878s this season and they're a credit to the club. The work the group puts in every matchday has been nothing short of amazing. A great example of what you can do when you get fans working together.

Just finished Punters: How Paddy Power Bet Billions and Changed Gambling Forever by @aarrogan.bsky.social. Terrifying how easy gambling companies can ruin people's lives. It's a terrific book that should be on everyone's must-read list.

Bramley Moore will never be Goodison but I do think the stadium will be amazing. Just a shame about the transport, walking is the only real choice. My fitbit will love me on matchdays.

As a group we have a busy 3 weeks ahead, 3 home games on the bounce & 3 displays before all of them.
We are going to need over 200 volunteers over all 3 of these games to make the displays look the best we can....

It's a national disgrace that food banks are needed but I'm glad we've got wonderful people like Dave, Robbie and the rest of their team helping out our communities 💙💙
🎙️| 40,000 people at the Derby on Saturday. If everyone donated 1 single item we can all go to bed knowing there is not a kid going hungry or a parent having to skip a meal because they can't afford to prepare a meal for all the family 🔵
