I'm posting this because I think people don't grasp how much money solar panels can save you.
Our 2-floor, 100% electric home has a normal Brooklyn Solarworks roof installation.
Below: our last 12 months of ConEd bills. Average $30 a month.
The average NYC residential ConEd bill? $336 a month.

Republican political violence has to become a subject of political discourse. The taboo against mentioning it has to end.

It's our 2nd year of turning the backyard into a wildflower and insect oasis. It has vastly surpassed our expectations. I'm sharing this to encourage others to follow suit--it's such a fun, easy, and unknown solution to the question of how to replace a muddy, gloomy lawn.

A nice surprise.

Basically, we don't have a party of opposition. We just have a bunch of hack opportunists intent on a career in DC politics. If, in a two-party democracy, both parties are rotten, then, yeah, you're not going to have a democracy for long.

Dems: don't bail out the Republican Party (and its agribusiness friends/donors) again.

5/In case you're wondering: Biden invested $11.7 billion (sic) in OH under the BIL--which Trump repeatedly tried to sabotage! No president delivered harder for OH than Biden on the nuts-and-bolts stuff WWC voters profess to value. What happened? They voted Trump. www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/u...

3/By their own account, Youngstown people have been reduced to despairing nihilism and naturally gravitate towards Trump because he's a transparent crook, rapist, etc. If they're going to get screwed over, at least let it be by Trump--who they view as one of their own.

2/What's unique about Trump's GOP is precisely its total failure to deliver material pocketbook gains to WC voters and its total success in nonetheless building their support.

It's laughable and kind of outrageous that the Capitol Police is taking precautions against a potential attempt to disrupt Trump's certification. Everyone knows that the only danger, in this respect, would be Trump himself.
