📖Storytelling has always been dear to me

I’ve been writing a lot over the past couple of years, especially in periods of art block. Short stories, flash fiction and poetry. I write for me. It’s scary to think of sharing it, but I would like the courage to combine my stories and illustrations more.

Me, after 99.3% of interactions with people, realising they probably thought I was being sincere (and therefore extremely weird):

After a long art block there's finally light at the end of the tunnel. This mindset shift has really helped.

I used to overthink everything. Now I focus on my interests or to just try stuff. It's helped me feel less resistance. It’s fun again 😊

Trying to slow down more and not feel like I HAVE to accomplish every idea or be productive EVERY day. I'm realising more and more that the clarity that comes with stillness and rest is important. I can always see in my art if I have too many things on my mind... #antiproductivity #creativity

I tried Frida Kahlo's creative routine ✏️

I used to paint with acrylics all the time... Then started working professionally and it was all digital.

In November, after 2 years of art block and burnout I dipped back into acrylics again 🥲 #illustration

I made a video last year on how I use my art books in my art practice - my first video that "popped"🥹

“Am I depressed? Or do I just need to go to bed earlier?” is a real conversation I’m avoiding with myself.
