Our new tool for multi-modal data analysis! nipalsMCIA implements multiple co-inertia analysis (MCIA) via nonlinear partial iterative least squares (NIPALS). It's great for large datasets commonly found in multi-omic single-cell studies, and allows for easy out-of-sample embeddings.
Unlocking new insights with nipalsMCIA. This tool speeds up data analysis for big datasets by clustering and visualizing info faster than before. Check it out for both bulk and single cell data on Bioconductor with how-to guides and extras online.

If you have a website, a Substack, a YouTube channel, Twitch, IG, FB, or newsletter, you have a vested interest in moving over to Bluesky where your external links aren't throttled. Elon isn't looking out for you; he's looking out for Elon.
Elon admits that any post on X with a link is throttled

He advises you to upload content directly to X instead, where he can monetize it

The Founders put ‘advice and consent’ in the Constitution for a reason. They wanted Senators to have oversight over Cabinet picks of a President to ensure that they were properly vetted. Winning an election 49.89%-48.24 doesn’t dispense with that constitutional responsibility.

Yes. This. Each time I post about the hypocrisy I'm getting these kinds of cynical responses, and really, stop it. I get that everyone copes in their own way, but don't pre-give in. Fight for your actual rights. Call out the hypocrisy. Not to convince them, but to remind everyone else.
Getting a lot of replies along the lines of "oh, you rube, you still think the law matters" and it feels strategically foolish to just concede that it doesn't. Contest everything. Expose the hypocrisy.

Remember when he fumed about Twitter Files and "liberal bias"? Elon's X was MUCH worse.
1/ X's algorithm was changed in mid-July 2024 to systematically boost Republican-leaning accounts and Elon Musk's own account following his endorsement of Donald Trump, according to a newly released computational study of engagement from the Queensland University of Technology.⬇️
