Does anyone have any experience publishing a family newsletter? I recently sent out messages to over 30 Michael family cousins asking if anyone would be interested in such a project. I’ve gotten several responses so far and the support has been unanimous, so I’m (cont) #genealogy #familyhistory

I really want to know what happened to Republicans being all for small government. Idk how anything they're doing since the evil Cheeto was reelected represents small government in any way, especially his use of the National Guard.

Has anyone else noticed that Trump has successfully gotten everyone to stop talking about Epstein? I mean now we're talking about Texas and Putin and DC with Epstein's name nowhere to be heard. Idk about y'all, but I still want to know what he's hiding.

A new post is up at Along the Creek! In this one I try to verify a crazy story I read in an 1863 newspaper. Check it out! alongthecreek.com/family-histo... #genealogy #familyhistory
Family History Journal #3 - A little of this, a little of that - Along the Creek
Sorry for the lack of posts the past few days. I wasn’t at my best, so I took some time off from my research. I jumped back in today, though, and, as the title says, did a little of this and a little ...

Apparently the DC police union said they agree "that crime is spiraling out of control" in DC, which is a perfect demonstration of why cops can't be trusted, because they don't operate in fact or reality anymore than Trump and the Republicans do.

I started a family history blog! It's called Along the Creek, and can be found at alongthecreek.com. I started it with the intention of sharing my work with others there. I've not always been the best at documenting my research, so that's what I'm setting out to do! #genealogy #familyhistory

Trump’s attempts at erasing trans people only makes us fight harder. We refuse to be erased and we refuse to hide. Fuck the Cheeto and his bigotry 🖕🏻

Can someone tell Lee Zeldin that growing the economy does no good when we're destroying the only planet we have to live on? That money ain't gonna save you once we've made this planet unlivable, bro.

Surely MTG using the word "genocide" to describe what Israel is doing will be some kind of turning point, right? I mean when even a whack job like her can acknowledge this reality, that must mean people in this country are actually waking up... right? Right?!

I don’t talk politics much on here, but now that this big bullshit bill has been signed into law, my question is this: when the fuck do we finally say “enough is enough” and revolt? Because I’m just sayin’ I BEEN ready.

I have a question for my fellow genealogists: What's your experience when you tell others you do #genealogy? And I mean when you use the specific word "genealogy." Do people generally know what you're talking about? Or do you have to elaborate with terms like "ancestry" or "family history"?

Replaced it today and got my assignments submitted! Though they were a tad late, but that’s with permission. Here’s to hoping Week 6 goes more smoothly…!
Currently doing my Week 5 GenProof assignments on my phone because my laptop, which was on its last leg, finally gave out, and I’m still in the process of getting it replaced 🙃 Hope with me that it’ll be replaced by this time next week because this is painful lol #genealogy #familyhistory

Getting all settled into my temporary home here in Maryland. I can’t thank my parents and @frederiickx.bsky.social enough for their help with this move! I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them.

Been a very busy last few weeks. I’m set to move from Indiana to Maryland on April 10th, so I’ve had a lot to do to prepare. I’m also trying to really get things going with my OPS and gather as much info as I can before I move, which tbh has added a lot of stress. #genealogy #familyhistory
