Last week Hon. Marci Ien invited me to her announcement of a $23 million investment for YES MB. I was honoured when Minister len spoke about my own advocacy for youth employment during her speech. I am especially happy to know that RAY will be able to continue their Level Up program thanks to this.

When I was a kid, my family was playing Balderdash and the word was “oligarchy.” I had coincidentally just learnt it in school, but no one else knew what it meant. I now look back at that memory fondly and yearn for when the average person had no reason to have that word in their vocabulary.

I am surprised that I don’t see more conversations about how so many people flocking to a social media platform that complies with Chinese censorship is undoubtably going to be a bad thing for queer people
