cis/het/white/old guy...

I know most followers are here for posts about one type of thing (not all the same mind you), but I'm complex damnit.
And now we wait for the people who want to fight a dictionary over the definition of words.

Not sure if this is nerd sniping or pedophile sniping.

Right now people knowing the speed limit depends on the signage too...

I think that better solutions are clearly possible, but it's also surprising that I've only got two situations where it gives wrong information (and plenty where it gives no info cause no signs).

Are there ways to improve this tech? They probably already exist, but what my car has I'd need to override regularly if it tried to enforce what it thought the speed limit was.

All that being said, NHSTA yes please, with it defaulting to on when the car starts, and increased speeding ticket$.

Every "city wide speed limit" and "school zone" speed limit sign is picked up as an active speed limit sign.

And sometimes a truck blocks the camera from seeing the sign.

So often it thinks the speed limit is 20 but it's actually 50.

My car reads the speed limit signs and puts the speed limit on the dash and the heads up display.

If you exceed the speed limit it puts an orange ring around the speed limit on the dash and the HUD.

It doesn't stop you from speeding which is good because-

It's such an old word, like "groceries".

One wonders how Trump and Epstein fell out of love when they both communicate so badly and have similar rich guy never actually do anything views of the world.

Pretty sure I'd be 20% smarter if I hit my head 60% less because I was 4% shorter.

For as shitty of a deal as it was, Democrats dealt themselves a stronger hand for Jan. when we do it all over again...

Unless a second shutdown for a different reason is seen as a reason to pin the blame of the Democrats... Which it probably would be.

Not all of this.

The Democrats will have to find a new demand, if the Senate actually holds a vote on healthcare subsidies.
SNAP will be funded next time.
I believe, in theory, Trump can't try to fire people when they are shutdown next time, but that's just a law so probably won't stop him trying.

We killed the heypenny (half penny) in 1857. That $0.005 is worth $0.19 today.

Nickel and dime should be gone too...

You need to have a system in place.

Because it was a must pass bill, and Mitch McConnell saw his chance to fuck the country over just a little more before his brain and or body give out completely...

It should be pretty easy at this point to not do a "well actually-" (pushing bridge of glasses higher on nose with one finger) around the clinical vs colloquial definition of "pedophile"

If your going to "well actually" post then you better be 100% accurate and not ignore colloquial definitions.

And the crime stats don't include the kidnappings, assaults, etc. performed by federal agents that haven't been charged (yet)

He is doing his best to make JD Vance look bad (which should not be hard, but hegseth is also not particularly clever, and "he has a beard" is the best he could come up with) so he can be VP instead (it's a lot less work that being secretary of defense, or war, or beards).
