Love the fact the Fox clown show thinks this was a moral victory for coming second in the Gold Cup.

Perfect is the Enemy of Progress
"To succeed in life, you need two things: ignorance and confidence."— Mark Twain As coaches, we’re often trained to prize knowledge and caution. We fear ignorance because it implies weakness or incompetence. We temper confidence because it's so often mistaken for arrogance. But what if both ignorance and confidence—when properly harnessed—are exactly what we need to move forward? When I first began writing this reflection years ago, it stemmed from a moment of clarity during a difficult time.

Flipping the narrative and suggesting that Darwin did that to take the heat off of that braindeadass sequence by Virgil and Alisson and the nonchalance of everyone at Anfield. A true team player.

Bring on Endō, Mac Allister, Jota…. Núñez, Días, Gravenberch need to be hooked at halftime.

In addition to Alisson being a god on the football pitch, watching Wataru Endō hunt the ball down, cover for teammates, tackle everything that dared move and maraud box-to-box fired everyone up. What a difference the subs made tonight. #psgvsliverpool

Watching Aston Villa vs Chelsea and again reminded just how awful Michael Oliver is as an official. Inconsistent, indecisive, being fooled by defenders flopping with the slightest touch.

How is this the best standard of refereeing England can produce?

The Prompted Paradigm
Look, the modern game is different. Players are expected to move differently across tactical formations and the responsibility sets of players in specific positions demand more technical prowess and proficiency than people think. In other words, the days of simply blasting the ball long down the field are gone. Teams will still employ this strategy, of course, but to what end?

Clickbait nonsense.
United States-Canada is a for-real rivalry, especially when considering the matchup's history.

But add in the political backdrop? Saturday's barn burner?

Thursday night could be a classic.

Ryan Gravenberch looks miles off it recently. Not sure if he’s on a bad run of form having set such a high standard all year or he’s just out of gas.

Not sure playing him for 90 mins was a good decision.

Darwin Núñez…if you’re going to be absolute dogshit at finishing/decision-making you HAVE to work hard & run like a man possessed. That adds something to the team. Being horrid in front of goal and jogging around is an absolute disgrace. A knackered midfield pressed harder.
