On the occasion of my parents' 65th wedding anniversary we decided to celebrate with a meal in the Yorkshire village of Great Heck, where my great great grandmother was born in 1850. A very enjoyable historic occasion!

Really, it's just so sweet that a love letter between my children's great great grandparents, dating back to 1895, just turned up.

A super two days in Paris exploring the historiography of science journals in French and Anglophone traditions. A highlight was getting to hear Roger Chartier speak again.
