It is long past time for the US to impose sanctions on Chinese & Hong Kong officials for repression in Hong Kong.
Reps Kim & McGovern are to be commended for their leadership and the Congress and Administration should act immediately to hold these officials accountable

It would be nice if the US took a similar strong stance when US-based advocates & a US citizen were targeted with bounties by the Hong Kong government. Really an unprecdented action. It is long past time for the Senate to pass the Hong Kong Econ & Trade Office (HKETO) Certification Act
