Received some family photos recently. Had very few until now. Just got surprised by finding photos of the trip that inspired Jade Turner’s memory in Season 4 of Red Valley. It was just as I remembered it. Oddly reassuring to have a memory confirmed to be real, if that makes sense.

Awesome times the other night watching Aliens on the distressingly big Bristol IMAX screen at @fwfilmfestival.bsky.social. With a wonderful in-person Q&A with Gale Anne Hurd, although I was actually more starstruck by surprise @helenlohara.bsky.social hosting. State of the badass art!

RIP. Always loved Val Kilmer. Best lips in the business. Also his delivery of ‘I shot him with a small revolver I keep near my balls’ in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was truly exquisite.
