Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

Policing what people post because it makes you uncomfortable reflects a real misunderstanding of social media and how it works. If you know something upsetting is likely to be posted by thousands (or more), the only thing you can really control is if you're in a place where you see it or not.
