While I can't presume to know what the motive was to the vicious attack in Vancouver last night, I want to say that the diversity of Canada will always be one of our greatest strengths. The Filipino community is very much a part of that and the fabric of my Canada.

I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?

On my way into work today that for many is the last day before holidays but for many frontline staff, including our bus drivers, working right through the holidays is their duty. Work doesn't stop. Thankful for them during the holidays, continuing to serve their community!

Pretty special day today picking up food bank donations from participating local schools for Stuff A Bus. Awesome seeing the kids not only excited about giving to those less fortunate but also about boarding the bus to do so! Their energy is infectious. The kids really are alright!
