Leaving up holiday decorations has been a tradition in my family since my great grandparents left a new year good luck banner on their door since before I was born. This practice would be followed by my grandparents, and also that one auntie you know. In honor of that: here is our CNY tree.

One thing I’m working on and one things I’m good at.

A matcha cheesecake pie that turned out much better than I thought it would and a prime rib that fucks as hard as I thought it would. 6/10 and 9/10.

One thing I’m good at and one thing I’m working on:

Prime rib in its 48 hour brine with added 5 spice to see if I can get in some added sweetness of aroma to compliment the crust.

Matcha cheesecake pie. Crust turned out great. The cheesecake rose in the middle causing the top to toast and crack.
