I treated myself to some prints from the amazing @tiffbaxter.bsky.social I feel like Medieval Revival/the Arts and Craft movement are going to be my vibe for this year

There was finally some decent lighting for me to get a photo of this. I made it for @cnlester.bsky.social 's Queer Renaissance Salon and it made me feel like a fairy prince. Eventually it will be covered in embroidery and have a lining based on Jacobian crewelwork
A vaguely Elizabethan style doublet in several blotchy shades of green, there is green and gold ribbon sewn to the edges and from the armscye to the waist seam, one sleeve is covered in embroidery in different shades of green evoking moss or other plants. The background is an oatmeal coloured carpet

I've fallen down an excellent rabbit hole of vintage sweater patterns. These are some of my favourite
A 1940s knitting pattern by Lincoln, it reads "out-of-door handknits for men" and has a man standing wearing a polar neck sweater with an Asian style dragon on the front. The whole image is black and white A black and white picture of a white man sitting down, he is wearing a sweater with a airplane covering most of the front and the rest is covered in small parachutes A 1950s knitting pattern by Mary Maxim. It shows in black and white a white man wearing a zip up cardigan. On the front of the cardigan there is the head of a cow on each side and on the back there is a whole cow. The man is holding a pipe, as is oddly common in knitting patterns. A colour knitting pattern for a man's cardigan from the 1940s. The cardigan is white with red zigzags and dots, it looks like a migraine aura.

- Build our own services, share information.

- Keep the pressure on politicians. Write, complain, write again. Ban them from Pride!

- Keep building alliances with feminist, anti-racist, disabled groups etc.

- Feed each other. Party. Have fun!
